UNICEF provides humanitarian assistance to children in developing countries, so we came up with a campaign that showed who comes first with UNICEF. If it looks like we got Steve McCurry—the guy who captured the haunting image of the Afghan girl for National Geographic—to shoot it, that’s because we did.
Create an image that transcends language and can run anywhere in the world. Make sure it communicates what place children have in our hearts. Oh, and could you take that iconic orange box we all grew up with, and update it to become a virtual orange box for online fundraising? Done, done and done.
