Assignment: To remind everyone about the benefits of drinking milk. Result: Helped reverse a 30-year decline in milk sales. Bonus Points: Became a pop culture phenomenon. In its 25-year span, the campaign pictured 350 celebrity milk drinkers who made the milk mustache a "must have" at the dinner table.
When we were notified that the Smithsonian Institution was putting one of our milk mustache ads on display and chose Bart and Lisa Simpson, Wwe wondered why. They told us the ad would be on display for a minimum of 90 years and wanted to choose someone they were sure the public would still recognize!
